This Is What a Small Business Looks Like

When we say Baycreek is a small business, we mean really small. Like family-run, all-hands-on-deck, every-person-pitching-in kind of small.

Our daughter? She’s not just helping anymore, she’s running our sister store: Baycreek Collection. And to say we’re proud doesn’t even come close. Her work ethic, her dedication, the way she connects with customers, it’s more than we ever imagined when we started this. She brings so much heart and energy to that shop. She’s kind, humble, genuinely excited to see you walk through the door, and it shows in every corner of the store she’s created.

Our 12-year-old son is our behind-the-scenes muscle. He helps lift, load, haul, whatever we need. Quiet, steady, and always ready to jump in.

And our seven-year-old? He’s the official Baycreek hype man. He touches everything, gives brutally honest reviews on new arrivals, and always manages to leave with a little treasure. His current obsession? Cups. We’ve had to set a one-cup-per-visit rule, but honestly… his excitement is contagious.

And then there’s Mike. He’s not front and center, but Baycreek would fall apart without him. He builds, fixes, hauls, tags, cleans, he does all the things no one sees and never asks for credit. He’s my rock, and he’s the reason this business runs as smoothly as it does.

This is what a real small business looks like. It’s family. It’s teamwork. It’s long nights, early mornings, and a whole lot of love. We’re not a big team—but we’re a strong one. And we are so, so grateful to have you as part of it.

Thanks for being here. for supporting not just the business, but the people behind it!
