Why Only 4 Days ?

One of the questions we get asked the most is, “Why are you only open four days a month?” And the short answer? Because that’s how we started—and it still works for us.

Back when we opened in 2016, we didn’t have the time, the staff, or the budget to run a full-time store. We both had full-time jobs, and we used our vacation days just to open the doors each month. It was the only option we had—and somehow, it turned into the best thing we ever did.

That four-day model became the heartbeat of Baycreek. It gives us time to reset the store every month, bring in fresh inventory, change up the theme, and make the space feel brand new every single time you walk in. It’s not just a store—it’s an experience. And you can feel the difference.

Being open once a month also creates this amazing energy. There’s excitement. There’s anticipation. There’s a sense of community that’s hard to describe unless you’ve felt it for yourself. Our staff, our vendors, our customers, everyone shows up with purpose. Because we all know this isn’t just a regular shopping trip. It’s a vibe. It’s a moment. It’s Baycreek weekend.

So yep, we’re only open four days a month—and we love it that way. We pour everything into those four days so that when you visit, you leave feeling like you were part of something special.

Thanks for showing up. Over and over again.
