Our Story

We opened Baycreek in November 2016 with a big dream, a tiny budget, and no idea what we were getting into. All we really knew was that we wanted to create something that felt warm, welcoming, and full of heart.

Back then, we could only open four days a month. We were both working full-time jobs and had to use our vacation days and personal time just to get the doors open. No staff. No systems. Just a lot of hustle and hope. Somehow, that four-day model stuck—and now it’s what makes us us.

Baycreek isn’t open every day, and honestly, that’s the best part. We pour everything into those four days. The themes. The displays. The music, the energy, the little details that make each weekend feel like an event. Every month, the shop gets a full reset—and nothing ever stays the same.

We started with one store. Now we have two. Each one has its own vibe, its own mix of products—but they both feel like Baycreek. Our daughter now runs the sister store (and absolutely crushes it), our kids all pitch in, and Mike—my behind-the-scenes rock—handles everything from build-outs to cleanups and all the unglamorous stuff that makes this place run.

Baycreek is a true family business. Built on love, grit, and a whole lot of “let’s figure it out as we go.” And we couldn’t do any of it without the people who keep showing up for us.

Thanks for being part of the story. You mean more than you know.
